Web Perspectives is the Canadian focused survey panel, sister site to the American panel, Valued Opinions, which is operated by Dynata. The panel was started back in 2004 and has a member base of over 250,000 people. In 2018, the Web Perspectives website updated their look and feel with fresh colors and graphics, as they became a Dynata-run panel. If were already a member, your account information stayed the same through this transfer.

Participate in Exciting Research

As a member of Web Perspectives, you may be invited to any of the following research opportunities: online surveys, focus groups, diary studies, reviewing advertising campaigns and even testing new products.

Earn Points for Participating

Each time you complete an online survey, you will be rewarded with 100 - 500 points. Surveys vary in length and complexity, but usually take 15 - 20 minutes to complete. Points are deposited automatically into your account once you complete a survey. If you have participated in a dairy study or focus groups, points may take up to 6 weeks to be credited.

Redeem Towards Gift Vouchers

Once you collect 1,000 points (valued at $10), you may redeem towards your choice of gift voucher to a variety of top retailers. These include: Amazon.ca, Indigo, HBC, Starbucks, The Source and Cineplex. There is also the option to donate your points toward the Canadian Cancer Society or UNICEF and you'll even receive a tax receipt for your contribution!

Choose Air Miles

If you're a collector of Air Miles Reward Miles, you can choose to receive your reward in the form of Air Miles credited to your account. You will have to provide your Air Miles Collector number in order to receive your miles.

Web Perspectives offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed. The five levels are listed from lowest to highest.

I have been with this site for YEARS and now all of a sudden they suspended my account?

They told me they needed ID which they refused to take and then in the next e-mail, they decided that I apparently have some "violations" and suspended my account!

And then my cousin made an account and wasn't able to take surveys and THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO HER. A BRAND NEW ACCOUNT GOT SUSPENDED, FOR WHAT? WHEN SHE WASN'T ABLE TO TAKE ONE SURVEY.

This is very disappointing, I have been with them for years and now they do this crap to me. This survey site is a joke.

What is your problem?

After over a decade of helping this company for very little reward, they sent me the wrong code to redeem at amazon.
After many many emails trying to get them to correct the problem, they now simply abandoned me.
I only came across Survey Police today as I was trying to find a way to warn others of Web Prospectives practices when I noticed so many bad reviews(over 60%!) on them. No wonder!
Too bad I didn't see that a decade ago.
They stand on the shoulders of the survey takers. While they charge their clients a ton of money to conduct surveys for them, they pay us very little and now nothing!

I have been a member of Web Perspectives for many years and earned a few dollars here and there. Nothing major, maybe $50/year or so. I did a lengthy multi-day diary survey earlier this year that awarded the equivalent of $15. Since then, however, my account has been suspended. I will give them credit for responding to my inquiry, but they just gave a standard line about irregular activity and won't give me any specifics as to what I have done wrong. I don't care about the missing money, I am offended at the implication that I cheated and would like an explanation.

The explanation of the deactivation is just an excuse as I have been doing the survey the same way for the past 10 years from this site. I have only one account and I answered the survey honestly and thoughtfully

If they received the repeated concern, as a normal corporation, they should issue warning to me especially 10 years is a long time period, but they choose to keep silence. Apparently, the "repeated reports of program inconsistencies" is just an excuse of not paying. I think the company is NOT earning enough money or running out of money, and now decide to suspend pile of members to increase the profit of the company.

Not doing survey from this site is fine with me, but using such an excuse to attack my personality and shirk responsibility is totally unacceptable.

Unfortunately, we have received reports regarding the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity and, upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account.

As a member of our program you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses. You must also be thoughtful and attentive in responding to our surveys. When we receive repeated concerns about any of these program rules we are obligated to take steps to investigate and unfortunately suspend accounts.

We do not take account suspension lightly and do so only when we receive repeated reports of program inconsistencies. At this time your account has been indefinitely suspended and you will no longer be able to participate in surveys or claim rewards from our website.

This website isn't worth doing anymore. They don't offer any good prizes and they stopped accepting Paypal payments. Back when they offered Paypal and were ripping people off by $2 for a $10 payment was still worth it.

But without Amazon gift cards or Paypal this company is no good anymore.
