Web Perspectives is the Canadian focused survey panel, sister site to the American panel, Valued Opinions, which is operated by Dynata. The panel was started back in 2004 and has a member base of over 250,000 people. In 2018, the Web Perspectives website updated their look and feel with fresh colors and graphics, as they became a Dynata-run panel. If were already a member, your account information stayed the same through this transfer.

Participate in Exciting Research

As a member of Web Perspectives, you may be invited to any of the following research opportunities: online surveys, focus groups, diary studies, reviewing advertising campaigns and even testing new products.

Earn Points for Participating

Each time you complete an online survey, you will be rewarded with 100 - 500 points. Surveys vary in length and complexity, but usually take 15 - 20 minutes to complete. Points are deposited automatically into your account once you complete a survey. If you have participated in a dairy study or focus groups, points may take up to 6 weeks to be credited.

Redeem Towards Gift Vouchers

Once you collect 1,000 points (valued at $10), you may redeem towards your choice of gift voucher to a variety of top retailers. These include: Amazon.ca, Indigo, HBC, Starbucks, The Source and Cineplex. There is also the option to donate your points toward the Canadian Cancer Society or UNICEF and you'll even receive a tax receipt for your contribution!

Choose Air Miles

If you're a collector of Air Miles Reward Miles, you can choose to receive your reward in the form of Air Miles credited to your account. You will have to provide your Air Miles Collector number in order to receive your miles.

Web Perspectives offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed. The five levels are listed from lowest to highest.

I have been using Web Perspectives for app. 2 years now. Suddenly, beginning of last month I was not able to access any surveys and cannot redeem any rewards.

For the last six weeks, once a week, I have been communicating with Web Perspectives via email to understand why. It seems that my account was DEACTIVATED. I do not know why and do not get straight answers other than ...we will investigate.

They have been investigating now for 6 weeks !

This site sends a lot of surveys and is quick to reach the payout threshold. I would prefer to have Pay Pal, which they used to offer, but amazon is still good too.

Loving this site for its ease of redemption with one caveat ... for some reason you are limited to two redemption selections per 24 clock hours vs calendar days, which is to say you wait a full 24 before you can process the next one.
It took me ten days to process my Amazon gift certificates because they are issued only in $10 increments for some reason not clear to me.
Having said that, the emails with the claim codes are easily converted to your Amazon account.

Keep with them. Once you go up in status they send you a lot of surveys and these usually pay $1.00 or more apiece. One trick: on completing a survey you sometimes get a message that there aren't any more. Keep the dashboard open as often the other surveys shown are still active. Also, sometimes refreshing the dashboard yields new surveys.

I've only been doing this for a short period of time, but so far the rewards have been very good. My biggest complaint is several times I have almost completed a survey, only to have it thank me and stop. I'm talking well after going through the questions to see if you meet the criteria. They need to stop these companies from doing this. They're getting their surveys done without having to compensate this way. I have wasted way too much time on surveys such as these.
