Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

great for Southwest points

August 4, 2015 by Adam from United States

I see a lot of travel writers say less than great things about this one, but I don't agree with them. I'd actually participated in e-rewards for several years thinking it was the *only* survey site (unlike some, e-rewards doesn't really go out of its way to advertise any others), so I was sufficiently amazed when I discovered that you could actually get paid in *cash* for surveys, not just in Southwest points - yes, e-rewards only pays you in points to various hotel/airline/etc. programs, there isn't even an Amazon option.

Nonetheless, this is still one of the sites I make sure to frequent whenever they send me a survey, which is fairly often (not as often as some, maybe 1-2 a week, but I more often than not qualify for the ones they do send, and they hardly ever error out mid-survey). Here's why: yes, they only pay in Southwest points, but when you always have a bank of 100k+ Southwest points, and don't always travel every year, having something to keep your account open indefinitely is *invaluable*. The couple hundred dollars I've gotten over the years in Southwest points is just a bonus. (Other bonus: if you're gunning for a Southwest companion pass, these points *do* qualify, as do points from Valued Opinions.)

Their surveys aren't usually terribly interesting, but still, also rarely unreasonably long for the amount of miles you get out of it. So I'm ok with that.

Fun Surveys

I am always happy to see an email from E-Rewards because I like their survey topics. Now granted, it has taken me a lot of time to get rewarded, but I don't care because their surveys are always fun! Wish I'd get more requests but even if I don't I am on board with them.

I get a good number of surveys to complete on a monthly basis and I like that you can redeem for nectar card points. Surveys are interesting and you get quite good incentives from them. It doesn't take long to get to 1000 points for redemption. The site is easy to navigate around and looks modern.

Just my experience

June 10, 2015 by Thomas from United States

I've read the comments of others and I'm generally surprised. I currently have $4.60 in my account after going 0 for 19 in survey qualifications.

My last survey took me to a site where it said they needed to qualify me. I answered maybe a dozen questions, then the website congratulated me and said that I had qualified. The next page took me back to e-Rewards, and it said they had already met their quota for this survey. Given the time stamp of the email, I clicked on the link within probably 2 minutes of receiving the email.

Also, I noticed that they collect personal info by saying they want to to match you up with the right surveys. Looking back, I did that a few times and that mostly resulted in me giving them info for free. That might be the science behind the system. I've seen the same surveys on more than one occasion (smoking, music).

Other reviewers seem to have had some success, so maybe my experience was unique. Who knows. I thought I'd give this a try and it's time to move on.
