Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

As a beginner, best so far

I just started taking surveys, because of e-rewards. I got an invitation from SWA for Rapid rewards and jumped on it. Unlike other survey hosts e-rewards pays for rejections, and my failure rate has been low. Within the first month I will have earned over $75 in funny money, translating to 1500 RR points. I wish I could find other survey hosts this good !

A Decent Panel

I joined E-Rewards back in November and was recently able to redeem a $25 GameStop gift card. It takes a while (several months) to rack up the points you need to redeem, but they DO pay you.

Have had good luck so far....

I joined eRewards about a year ago; I just recently cashed in points for a Starbucks card. I could not believe how fast the card showed up, no more than a week to 10 days after I requested it. I would like to see more incentives, but some of the ones they do have I could give as gifts -- my nephews like iTunes and GameStop, so I could cash in some of my points for those, and save me a few dollars at Christmas and for their birthdays. They would be happy with those. Overall, I am happy with eRewards, but like I said, I would like to see more varied rewards to cash in on in the future.

Really bad incentives

You register to e-rewards from one of the referral companies and that allows you to earn dollars per survey. The only problem is that you cannot encash these for anything except for the miles of the sponsor and they charge the same rate for miles as on their program. I joined this for United and the output was about 750 miles for 50$ so about 750 miles for over 50 surveys. e-poll allows you to earn similar with a third of the effort.

Decent Enough

As others have mentioned, some of the surveys are a bit tedious, the reward selection is a bit limited, and you can only trade for the same reward once a year. Personally, I think that most of the reward selections are over-priced or of limited value - like saving a certain dollar amount on purchases at some place but only if you spend a certain amount. I would rather just have a solid savings coupon good regardless of the amount I spend somewhere. However, I exchange my points for hotel rewards and so I just keep accumulating for the year and then exchange for whatever level I've managed to get, which usually is quite high. That also takes care of using the points within the expiration time period.
