In Feb this year, further to my updated below review, they emailed me and it seemed they wanted to clarify the situation and help....... They gave me some explanations, which I proved wrong....... but they said that the INCOMPASS project team will contact me .......
I then emailed them again, but of course no reply and the Team never contacted me....... This is NOT a professional behaviour, I am still waiting explanations, but they know how badly they acted in my case, and I wonder how many other members have been tricked in this way.
------- UPDATED REVIEW - After my below review, somebody from Ipsos called Monica left a message advising me to get in touch with c-s. I did using the email she gave but of course I was ignored. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME as nobody from Ipsos care what we think. They will continue to use all the tricks in the book to exploit respondents.
------ MY OLD REVIEW - I used to think that Ipsos was an overall very good ethical company - despite experiencing in the last few years surveys errors, too long screenings clearly gathering info!, OR I start a survey for xx points but without my knowledge I end up with less points (c-s says that if you do not qualify you're switched to another survey... SO
less points but as long!!...).
OR simply long surveys not well rewarded... Yes, they have a reward programme, but you have to receive surveys to qualify.
And all these empty emails that even if you just received
them, click and no survey available...
Against their present £10 voucher 1380 points I calculated that £0.72 = 100 points.
1) Surveys have usually good layouts except when they use the frame-in-the-frame ones, and there may be errors here and there!
2) You may be awarded 5p to 25p if you dnq or have filled a bit longer than the qualifying part but not the full survey.
CONS
They are constantly trying to recruit new members, but what about loyal existing members?
So, I stopped to follow their fb page. And recently for the fist time I did not complete one of their prize-draw survey (that we should complete as part of the deal). Anyway, never won anything in years.
My HALF A STAR is because of their INCOMPASS tracking app - Not an ethical behaviour theirs:
I joined through a third party (they still recruiting); it was for a smartphone study (have screenshots, they never mentioned other devices).
Ipsos anyway stitched to the recruiting process a devices survey, which I completed THEN started to 'harass' me 'blackmailing' me with the reward, telling me that I had to run their app in my other devices if I wanted to be rewarded (same incentive by the way).
Well, I couldn't No space left and laptop is sensitive work.
ALSO, the app is quite heavy to run as it records TV radio etc signals... so my smartphone is the best devices as per original invitation! So I left.
I joined again but said didn't have other devices -diff. account- to see if I was accepted with my smartphone only and surprise surprise I was accepted in the study with just my smartphone! (though it didn't last).
Anyway, now my opinion of them is at a floor level, even if they changed their wording I feel betrayed.
Their normal smartphone APP does have very few surveys and they open in a browser. It is good to see polls but the like feature is partially missing, so it's ok.

IPSOS had a year long mystery shop in which you were required to have a specific phone plan from At&T in which you pay first of course and then eventually IPSOS would reimburse you...or so they say.I was reimbursed for the first 6 months no problem and now they refuse to pay my for the balance owed.
I was never told the shop ended prior to the posted shop instructions that stated: You will keep the plan going for 12 consecutive months April 2016 to April 2017 with At&T and now they claim I breached my contract by claiming emails were sent to me or I failed to do something. I even have payment pending in the history log and they refuse to pay me. IPSOS claims that the plan was changed and the study ended without any notification in Dec 2016. If a shop ends early it is the responsibility of IPSOS to notify and pay for any outstanding fees incurred due to no notification and/or early termination fees!
We all know mystery shop dates change and it is up to the company to let us know the updates and have them posted as an update on the assignment instructions! I am out $800 with At&T, because I was on a one year contract. I only had this plan for the IPSOS study and of course they did not have me on a cheap plan. They even had their attorney contact me to scare me off and he did not even have the correct study dates on his letter.
I had to email him the original job instructions and dates. summitscheduling.com was part of this nightmare as well. Anyone have any suggestions on how to collect this money from IPSOS.
Just found out through other posts that the client did actually cancel their contract with IPSOS and IPSOS failed to notify their mystery shoppers.I have been told that I am not the only one who was not paid!
Review about: Ipsos / AT&T
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $873.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
I didn't like: Failed to properly post updates on shop portal, Uses their in house attorney to scare shopper to prevent payment, Client cancels contract with ipsos and they hide it, Ends mystery study with no notification to shoppers.

I was a member of I-say, and completed many of their surveys with no problem until I mentioned in a comment section on their website that their reward system had a small flaw that should be addressed. Suddenly I stopped getting survey invitations, and my membership cancelled. When I contacted them, they say that their analysis showed "contradictory answers" so I was terminated. I'm a member of other survey sites (mintvine, yougov, etc.) that also do checks for consistency and I've never had a problem with any of them, so this sudden expulsion doesn't seem right. I often don't qualify for most surveys but I'm honest anyway. I think blacklisting someone for a comment they don't like is a poor business ethic.

Few surveys, bad customer support.
Even with screenshots of my points balance before and after a survey and 5 emails to the customer support, they won't admit they decreased all my points survey. Not suprised why it takes so much time to get a $5 reward...
I asked to delete my account.
Don't recommend at all.

I should have read the other reviews before I even bothered to register with this panel. I had received some survey invitations through this panel's app. However, I was unable to take the surveys at that moment. 2 hrs. later, I attempted to take the surveys, they were gone. 1 week and a half goes by, I never received anymore survey invitations. I emailed the panel to ask about this. I get a reply back stating my profile was incompatible with their research; therefore, my account was deactivated. I reply back asking why was I able to still log in, why was I still able to answer the short polls, and why wasn't I given notification??? I also sent FB message to this panel. I received a reply stating that someone would investigate and contact me. Next thing you know, my account was completely removed!!! In addition, I tried to leave this exact same review of this panel on FB, I get a message stating that my review is "abusive".
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PANEL!!!
If I get linked to any of i-Say's surveys via my other panels, I WILL NOT be answering!!!
Update:
I love the answer that this panel gives me,"Please check our terms and conditions on our website for more details on this issue." By reading other reviews about this panel, apparently this panel can delete your account without warning or reason. I've seen more than one person state that they were about to cash in their rewards when all of a sudden their account was deleted. BUT, I'm sure Ipsos got paid REAL WELL from their client that hired them to conduct the survey!!!
EVERYONE, DO NOT ANSWER A SINGLE SURVEY FROM THIS PANEL!!!
