Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Paid Surveys

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

This used to be a great service, one of my favorites. In the last few years however, it has gone down the drain. trouble logging in, when you do manage to log in and complete a survey you get to the end and you get an error message and are awarded no points. When you complain it takes forever for them to respond and they are generally less than helpful. good luck getting the point you are due.

So I finally heard from MySurvey and the reason I was deactivated they say was because I used a server with a proxy on it and I was out of the country, which I was not but at least they reactivated me. So FYI don't use a work computer that has sites overseas. I think it picked up an overseas IP address. Good to know though. It took them a long time to respond otherwise they would get a 5.

MySurvey used to be a reliable company.

However, as others in this community have mentioned, recently, it has deteriorated.

For example, panelists such as myself can complete surveys to the very last webpage, then, when submitting our responses, we can be told that there is an 'error' and our participation is 'invalid', so no points will be awarded.

MySurvey is another LightSpeed company, under Kantar Group and W.W.P. [Wire and Plastic Products], just like Global Test Market.

LightSpeed used to be a reliable company until recently.

For panelists who have problems with LightSpeed companies, I recommend lodging a complaint with E.S.O.M.A.R., the governing authority on market research and survey companies.

Subsequently, a complaint filed with your country's commercial crimes division of your police force is recommended.

Failing to award points for completing surveys is equivalent to not paying for work done. Such activity should be investigated by E.S.O.M.A.R. and police.

MySurvey seems like it could be cool, only they will rope you into completing an entire survey only to say "quota filled" and never give you any points. It's literally impossible to make a single dollar. Don't bother.

February 2016, after a couple years of devoted survey taking MySurvey deactivated my account without notice or warning or any reason. I had not broken any rules. I am a female homemaker that was taking surveys for fun and a little cash to give the kids. In fact I had just received an email to complete a survey and that is how I found out my account was gone - when I tried to respond to the survey. I had $$ pending to cash in for a lot of time I spent being honest and answering surveys. They will not answer anything on their contact form. They are totally ignoring my attempts to question why they did this. Yet...one can still register a new account so they must still be in business. BEWARE! They have changed their process of contact but that is not the only issue. You cannot email them or receive email from them. You have to use a site form and can only get replies (provided they leave you active) at the site. They take weeks to reply and you will soon see these are canned replies that do not answer your questions. They often will screen you out after you have answered questions for 30 minutes and you get nothing for your time. The site pages are difficult to navigate and you often have to sign in over and over after a survey ends to get back to the dashboard. This is the most frustrating survey site online and they just became that way recently. Saying they are shady is putting it mildly. I have no interest in dealing with people like this. They can keep the money I earned. I only opened an account at Survey Police so I could warn others. Don't trust the positive reviews you read about My Survey. They are out for themselves and will drop you whenever they want. What kind of place has no email contact? Think about it and choose a reputable and respectable survey site rather than My Survey. Other places pay better, pay quicker and appreciate your participation. My Survey will most certainly take advantage of your willingness to voice an opinion. Too bad that someone dishonest has taken over.

May 1, 2016 - After numerous contacts to MySurvey to restore my account or pay what they owe me, with no response or acknowledgement back I wanted others to beware when you are linked to this survey company through another survey site like Toluna or InBoxDollars - you still will not get your reward. MySurvey will appear in the web address of the redirect and yes you will be able to complete the survey but when you reach the end it you get a message that reads quotas have just been met. This proves MySurvey is still in business and in business for themselves. They are now getting their surveys completed for free through other survey sites. I don't understand why other survey sites have nor caught this. Someone shady and dishonest runs MySurvey. If I could give it minus 5 stars I would. I have linked to several MySurvey surveys through other survey sites and I always get denied at the end. Huge waste of my time and very aggravating. I think this place is out to get their results without paying anyone. And for those of you that have high regard for this place, don't say we didn't warn you!!!!
