Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Paid Surveys

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

I have been a member of My Survey for years, and they have been one of my favorite sites. Until recently that is. My account has been rendered inactive twice in the past month. The first time, after several emails to support, they reinstated me. This time, I have emailed them 6 times and have not even received an email acknowledging that that my request was received. I don't know why this was done and didn't receive an explanation the first time it happened. Can't recommend this site anymore. Very poor customer service.

I usually get disqualified on my survey for surveys, and sometimes I spend 15 minutes on a survey before I get disqualified.

I used to really like the site & surveys but they tried to get me to do a survey for 20-30 minutes a day for 7 days for next to nothing. I haven't been back since. I want to give them another try but I don't want to waste my time.

I was a member of My Survey for 5+ years. This year, I cashed in my reward points to help with Christmas, and immediately after that, they deactivated my account without telling me. When I emailed to ask why, I was sent a nasty, threatening email, saying they had audited my account and found that I had been lying on surveys (NOT true) and were going to report me to the "appropriate federal and state authorities" and said I would be going to jail for 10 years!!! Earning $200 from surveys is not worth being treated like this.

I had been a member of MySurvey for 40+ years from back when it was Carol Adams and the surveys were done by regular mail. They used to offer legitimate surveys paid with real money. I'd receive a $2 bill for every completed survey, and $5 for more complex surveys (like today's beverage diaries, for instance). In the past few years I've seen a steep decline in the quality of the surveys and rewards. I hadn't "qualified" for over 30 surveys in a row so I quit, but not before answering 20-30 questions before being "screened out." I actually completed the surveys, but in order NOT to give me my points (that can now be redeemed for prizes and gift cards) it says I "screened out" of the surveys. Very underhanded. Don't waste your time.
