Survey Taking Experience

Collect Your Points

Most OneOpinion surveys pay the points equivalent of $1 to $5 ($1 = 1,000 points), so you’ll hit the 25,000 point threshold needed to start redeeming your rewards quickly if you are an active member of the panel.

When new online surveys become available, you'll be e-mailed a survey invitation which will state the topic of the survey, the number of points offered for completing it, as well as the approximate time it'll take to complete. Even if you end up getting screened out of a survey, One Opinion will still reward you with points! This will help you reach your rewards goals faster.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you get screened out or are disqualified from an online survey, OneOpinion will still compensate you. Earn up to 250 points per day (50 points x 5 disqualifications) for screen outs.

Get Your Points Immediately!

After you complete an online survey, your reward points will instantly be loaded into your account. These points can be traded in towards great rewards from the OneOpinion Rewards Program.

Take Part in LOTS of Surveys

If you qualify, and your profile matches the studies criteria, there may be a new survey for you to take every day. Partner surveys are also available, which will help match you to additional studies.

Great site

October 14, 2017 by Carlos from United States

Really happy with this site and the payout is timely. Plenty of surveys to keep me busy.

One of the Best Sites

October 12, 2017 by Rose from United States

If I could give this site 100 stars I would. They offer you many surveys every day and will give you 50 points for trying five times in a 24 hour period. They pay very quickly and have great customer service. I would say absolutely join this one!

one of my favorites

September 27, 2017 by Adam from United States

When I initially went on a survey-site-joining spree a couple years back, I skipped this site, because surveypolice indicated that they only provided payment via prepaid visa, which, no thanks. I am glad they showed up on a list of most-liked sites a few weeks back, which caused me to give them another look, because that is no longer the case: they absolutely offer cashout via paypal now, with no fees, so I gave them a try.

I am happy to report: this is now one of my favorites. They remind me strongly of what Opinion Outpost used to be, back when I joined, except better. Like Opinion Outpost, they spew surveys at you near-constantly (though you obviously won't always qualify for them). Like OO of a couple years ago (but no longer - why I recently stopped using them), the pay is actually pretty decent (though it sadly used to be better still) - I've started to see lower-pay surveys creeping in... on average it's still decent, but I'm a little worried they'll start declining in pay over time just like every other site. Still decent, for the most part, as of right now, though.

*Unlike* OO ever, the site is fairly reliable, and definitely unlike OO ever, in the one case so far that I've been screened out after completing a survey, I contacted their support, explained what the survey was about, when I took it, and that after the survey had told me I'd completed it successfully, OneOpinion said I'd been screened out... Opinion Outpost generally just says "tough luck" when you contact them with that sort of complaint - OneOpinion replied about a day later saying they apologized, and that I would receive full payment for the trouble, which not longer afterwards, showed up. I really wanted to call them out for that, for how depressingly unusual it is for a site like this to actually care about its users. Thanks a non-sarcastic bunch!

edit: I just had another survey like that where it bugged out after saying I'd completed it, which, incidentally, is fairly impressive too (it was very clearly GTM's fault, not OneOpinion's, and sites like GTM or OO used to do that near *constantly*, as opposed to OneOpinion, where this was the second time in *months*.) But anyway, once again, they immediately (and this time, I mean *immediately*) responded indicating that they had verified my completion and had paid me for it. GTM and OO *never* did that, which is why I ditched those sites a while back, and still use OneOpinion. Thanks, OneOpinion! edit some more: I've been erroneously screened out of a good handful after completion now (which is generally speaking, not their fault). They have only once failed to credit me back at least the amount I was due, and in a couple cases, credited me for *more* than I was due, by way of apology.

They did recently lower their pay pretty noticeably, which is sad - they used to on average a dollar for fairly short surveys, which was impressive, and I guess unsustainable, cause I now only get a dollar from some of them, sometimes see 20+ minute surveys that also only pay a dollar, and sometimes only get 50 cents from the shorter ones, which is too bad. They do also pay 5 cents per screenout, up to 5 per day, which isn't a lot, but definitely takes the sting out of getting screened out, and I feel like the ratio of screenouts to actual completions has so far stayed noticeably higher than the other bigger sites, too, which is nice. Still would've preferred the higher pay it used to have, but nonetheless, at least for now, this remains the one and only "as many surveys as you like" type survey company I've stuck with. edit: pay has been going down recently, just like I expected. Still decent, and their support remains strong, but definitely going down.

Impressed

September 18, 2017 by Kellie from United States

This is definitely one of the better survey sites! The surveys CAN pay very well, and payout is within a few days. They offer PayPal payments which is wonderful. I recently had an issue where I completed a 60 minute survey for around $5. Once I pressed submit, I received the "Unfortunately you did not qualify" message. I was pretty disappointed because I completed the entire survey (it was a glitch of some sort), but I reached out to CS and they answered within a few days and gave me my points- no hassle at all. This was the first time I have ever had to contact CS since they RARELY have issues. I am VERY happy with this company.

Hi Kellie,

Thank you for your feedback, and your positive review! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your OneOpinion experience!

We apologize again for the survey technical issues you experienced! Each survey has a pre-screening portion, which should either qualify you or disqualify you within 1-4 minutes, definitely not after the survey has been completed! We are happy you wrote in to notify us, and happy that we were able to resolve the issue for you! We're always here for you if you need us!

Lousy!

September 17, 2017 by Curtis from United States

It's impossible to qualify for surveys from this company. You do get 50 whole points for only the first 5 surveys you take and are disqualified for. Wow, such an incentive! Most of the surveys screen you out without even asking you preliminary questions and also have problems loading, or you get a message that you've already taken the survey (alright then, take it out of the system, then).

I'm thinking about leaving altogether since it's nearly impossible to get any points anymore.

Hi Curtis,

Thank you for writing in, and apologies for any survey issues you experienced. Please keep in mind that our surveys come from many different clients and sources, many of whom are looking for some very specific demographics and target markets in their survey responses. These surveys grab some cursory data from your panel profile when they are opened, and based on that information, they will allow you to answer further survey questions, or disqualify you immediately.

The pre-screening portion of every survey is intended to either qualify or disqualify you from the survey within 1-4 minutes. Sometimes you will be disqualified based on age. Other times, based on physical location. Other times still, based on shopping habits, etc. It all depends what info the client is looking for at the time. There are also times where you will be automatically disqualified because the client already has the number of survey responses they need.

Note that some survey clients can access your OneOpinion profile window upon the survey opening, which is why you are sometimes disqualified with no further questions being asked.

We apologize also for your frustration with the disqualification system. This DQ point system is fairly new to OneOpinion, as we did not previously offer an incentive for surveys attempted but not completed. We are accepting feedback and comments on this system, and will keep this in mind when making further adjustments.

We are also always looking for feedback on our surveys and routing systems, so we can continue to make improvements. If there is anything else we can assist with, don't hesitate to contact us!

Best,
-Alex P
