How PointClub Works

What PointClub Is
PointClub is a website which gives the opportunity for members to earn rewards from answering surveys and participating in other online activities.

Who Can Join
You can access this website from any country, and there are money-making opportunities for residents of the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands. However, USA residents will find the most opportunities to make side-income from this website and will by far, have the most success with it.
Payment and Rewards
Join and Get up to 5,000 Free Points (Worth $5)
Become a free member of PointClub and jump start your membership by receiving 500 free points credited to your account. Receive points for joining, points for confirming your email, and extra points for completing the short profiling questionnaire, for a total of 5,000 points, or $5.00. This is a particularly generous sign up bonus compared to those offered by most of PointClub’s competitors.
Receive Cash or Gift Cards for Your Participation
By completing surveys and participating in other research opportunities, you will earn points which can be redeemed for PayPal payments or digital gift cards (though your first reward will automatically come in the form of a payment check). You may request a reward with 25,000 points, worth $25, in your account. This is PointClub's minimum cashout. Alternatively, you may request your rewards at the 50,000 ($50), or 100,000 ($100) threshold levels.
- Payment check: The first time you cash out your rewards, you will receive a check in the mail. This is done to verify your address and is the first and only time PointClub will issue a payment check to your address (sent by US mail).
- Earn gift cards: PointClub has over 200 gift card options available that you can exchange your points for. These include Amazon, Tango, Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Macy's, Lowe's, Sephora, Google Play, and many, many more. Visa prepaid cards are also a prize option. You may request a gift card with as little as 25,000 points ($25) in your account. Gift cards are only available as e-gift cards.
- Get paid by PayPal: If you prefer cash, you can opt to receive a $50 cash payment made to your PayPal account. This will require 50,000 points and a 2% withdrawal fee will apply.
PointClub Advantage All e-gift card deliveries and PayPal payments should take no longer than 7-10 business days to process.
Survey Taking Experience
Earn Points for Surveys
Every time you participate in a PointClub survey, you will earn points redeemable for gift cards or cash. You can earn anywhere from 200 to 5,000 points per survey completion. Surveys typically take between 5 - 30 minutes to complete. Your points will be awarded once a survey fully closes, so you may have to wait up to 4 weeks before your points are available in your account.
At any time, you can view your current approved points, point status, and points needed for redemption by viewing your PointBank on the sidebar of your account dashboard.
Tons of Survey Opportunities Available
At any time, you may log into your account to view a list of online surveys available for completion. You will also be notified by email when you may qualify for a new survey, but it's a good idea to log into your account regularly to check for opportunities.
Get Points for Screen Outs
If you get screened-out, or disqualified from a survey, PointClub will still credit your account with 12 points after 5 unsuccessful attempts. This counteracts the frustration of spending time on the start of a survey only to be dismissed with no compensation.
Easy Redemptions
Once you have reached the minimum of 25,000 points needed to redeem, a button will appear in the sidebar of your dashboard. A weekly distribution model for rewards is followed so that redemptions requested throughout a week are collated and sent ahead for further disbursal to Club members in the immediate/following week. That means that you should never have to wait more than 7-10 business days to receive a gift card to PayPal reward.

When points are earned you sometimes have to wait weeks for them to go from pending to approved. So once you reach the 25,500 point level you have to wait until all pending points are approved. They make you get to 25,500 points to get $25. They "charge" you 500 points to get your reward. I've been waiting on my reward for almost 3 weeks now. I've emailed them twice and get the same answer that they will get it to me ASAP. The only good thing about them is they give you 12 points each time you don't qualify for a survey, up to 5 times per day. Once I get my $25 PayPal (if I ever do) I'm going to unsubscribe from them. Not worth the time you have to put in or the wait for the reward.

Dear Lisa,An instant credit against survey(s) completed, is for sure the most preferred mode for anyone. But it had to be replaced with Points Approval System due to technical reasons.
We completely understand that an extended wait time for survey clearance or reward requested may lead to an increased level of frustration. It is very unfortunate that everything fell into such a sequence and may have caused inconvenience to you. Especially, when the first cash out is awaited!
However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays this time, caused from sources beyond the reach of PointClub.
We've been working towards streamlining both to overcome the delay caused. Reward requested will be delivered shortly for sure and the next time you come across any doubts/concerns, reach out to our customer support team with the subject line 'URGENT ATTN'. I would like to get in touch with you and double check it myself.

I have been a member of this panel since 2016 which has been through a lot of changes. At one point redemption threshold was below 25,000 pts and points use to be credited instantly without going into pending. In their recent change points are now reduced and I was accused of getting overpaid and that points are credited to my account my error which is not true.
I put in the work, waited for over 2 months for points to be approved and upon doing so I made a $25 PayPal cashout. A few days later my account balance became -23,586 pts. I contacted help-desk on Facebook and was told it is probably a system error and they will get it corrected asap and I should be assured that my hard-earned points are very much safe. Four days later I contacted them as the issue wasn't resolved. (balance still showing -23,586 pts).
Now upon replying I was told that incorrect credits were found to be added in an error and that the cashout I did use those extra points. How could that be possible? when I have to wait over 2 months for points to be approved to make a redemption then saying those points were added to my account by error?
I have logged in almost every day for the past 4 years just to keep my streak going and never seen any points added to my account by error. They also state that the points that I earned in the complete tenure with PointClub are lesser than the amount of cash outs done. I was also told that the cashout I did (what I have earned) is to be canceled and once that is done, points will then be sent back to the main balance and my account will come out of the negative balance. ( So their aim here is to take away my $25 cash out). And even thou they state that my cashout will be canceled and points will be sent back to my account, they know that's not true as it has been 23 days, and my cash out still marked as pending and account balance still -23,586 pts. So overall as it is right now it is saying my account was credit by error of over 50,000 pts ($50). I have been doing surveys for several years for different Panels and have never seen anything like this.
.............................
Update.
So upon making this review I was told to send [email protected] an email followed by a reference to this post so they would investigate my concern(s) which I did.
Upon replying the Customer Service Manager states that no change in the results at the end and cannot be biased by letting me get overpaid.
It's funny how you have to earn your points, go through a process (validate) before it is credited and they calling it overpaid.
As a member of this panel for over four years, I have seen what they had done to their members with their so-called Audit which occurs between November- December of 2017. They terminate lots of accounts because they don't want to pay. I was also a victim and have to go back and forth with them proving what I was accused of was not true before my account was reinstated. Because of this, their ratings went way down hence in June of 2018 PointClub asked their members to review them on SurveyPolice in exchange for an account credit.
For those who are reading this yes you might get paid after waiting for up to 3 months for points to be approved and getting paid, but sooner or later they will find some excuse to either hold on to your funds or block your account.

Dear Steve,Every tenured member of PointClub is surely aware that accounts are flagged 'Only' in case when a severity is observed. Rest assured, we've always gone a step ahead and delivered constant support to our members. This could range from arranging credits and may go up to recovering accounts from as stated flags.
If there has been an instance wherein a delay was recorded in routine processing, then there are times when results were delivered beforehand as well. Hence, it is our best effort to make things possible for our Clubbers at the earliest. Any inconvenience caused or may have kept you waiting long for results is deeply regretted.
Routine audits/health checks are done to maintain the upkeep of member accounts. With a similar activity conducted recently, slightest differences observed in points total was corrected, just like it was done for your account. The best way to derive correct results we could think of was to estimate all the earnings made until the date and it worked well!
With due respect, if you may wish to suggest an alternate way(s) for arriving at numbers that you think could be the right ones. This opportunity has always been there and is eagerly waiting to welcome fresh ideas.
You may contact us anytime as per your ease, if in case you want us to supply all supportive report(s) that was/were fetched and considered for further rectifications done in your account balance.

If you need the money to feed your kids, this is not the site. You need 25 dollars accumulated in points to cash out, which is fair. However from the time you finish the last survey that qualifies you for 25 dollars....plan to wait 8 weeks for all of them to go from "pending" to "approved". Some will be approved in a few weeks and some will take 8 weeks, But you need all of them of course to be approved in order to cash out. Then you are able to order the gift card or paypal. And then thats another 1-2 weeks after ordering before my e-gift card arrives in my email. They do eventually pay, at least in the 3 cards I have cashed out ..all taking 8-10 weeks,
Their rules and regs state "Please note: on average, it takes 2-4 weeks for points to clear with the client, depending on volume and complexity of the survey. If you notice that points for a specific survey haven’t cleared yet, and it is past 4 weeks, please reach out to our support team and they will be happy to look into it for you."
However if after 4 weeks you claim points arent approved., You are told that the above is wrong. That you should give it 6 weeks.
Then after 6 weeks you are told that she will hand it off to the proper team members for immediate attention.
Then 2 weeks later you can expect the approval, and you can then submit for a gift card and wait for another week or 2.
Compare this to survey junkie, who gives you immediate approval for taken surveys with zero pendings, and once you hit 10 dollars you can submit for a gift card and get it in your email in less than 5 minutes, Swagbucks gives you immediate approval (no pending) and gets you a gift card in 24 hours.
I gave 2 stars because they do eventually pay. But as you can see the rules and regs they publish on the site are not accurate.
-----------------------------------------
UPDATE
the last time I cashed out a 25 dollar e-certificate, it took 8 weeks for approval so that I could first cash out...and 3 weeks to deliver the e-cert. by email.
The time before it was 7 weeks and 3 weeks as well. That's 10-11 weeks.
point club caters to the same survey companies as survey junkey, swagbucks, one opinion, ...yet those companies give immediate approval of your earned points, and survey junkey gives you your earned -e certificate in 5 min , while swagbucks gives it to you in 24 hours. ..A big difference from 8 weeks approval verification period plus 3 weeks extra wait after ordering.
I happened onto an experiment that I didn't intend. But my wife lost her job and started doing surveys. I have always done them. As it turned out we on the same day each did an identical survey from our respective computers .I did it from Point club, and many hours later on the same day she did it from Survey Junkey (I noticed her screen looked familiar as I passed by). She got immediate approval of her survey...I waited 7 weeks for that specific survey to be "approved".
I always ask 'sana" why it takes so long and she quickly responds within 24-48 hours that there is a "process" and everyone is working hard to get approvals, and she knows it can be frustrating but it takes time to "fetch" approvals and it takes time for the e-certificates to "arrive".
Its all very vague.....nothing specific . How do other survey clubs stay in business when they give immediate approval for their completed surveys. And they deliver e-certificates in 5 min or a day. How can they do that??? What e-certificate provider takes 3 weeks to fill an order????? Obviously if competition was getting better service from an e-cert provider then point club would change their e-certificate provider to another company just to keep up with the competition. So I don't think its the e-certificate provider.
I am currently waiting again. 8 weeks for approval and 11 days so far for delivery and counting. This will be my last.
During these days of financial uncertainty, I guess there is an over supply of survey takers so we can be treated this way.....
Now one opinion website takes 10 days to send you a card, but it physically gets mailed, and there is no 8 week "approval period".
Point club by far makes you wait longer than any other survey place I have ever come across.
from the day you finish your last survey to hit the 25 dollars to delivery is 10-11 weeks.
not for me. sorry. ITS A HALF STAR COMPANY
in response. please according to survey police this company has a prior history of paying for reviews (if you just read the survey police disclaimer in yellow where point club was told to stop the practice).
Also the idea of 4-6 weeks quoted by sana is misleading as explained the last 2 times was 8 weeks on average..but no comment on that'
And we need to believe this?? "We at PointClub maintain maximum transparency with members and it's done by making all our sponsors directly evaluate the responses entered."
really....you MAKE sponsors do extra work for you??? really you MAKE them. ..so that an extra 8 weeks pass by? The other survey companies that give immediate approval does not MAKE their sponsors do extra work. Why would you have to MAKE them do anything. While your competition is giving immediate approvals you are MAKING your sponsors do extra work that you claim takes 4-6 weeks but actually take 8 weeks, and then it takes 3 weeks to get a e certificate after approval. 11 weeks total.. And it all comes down to "fetching".
Also note the more recent post that says you get paid in "3 days or more:". Yup my continued experience falls into that "3 days or more" category. lol. A very truthful claim.

I have been a member of PointClub for less than a year. It's easy to qualify for surveys and home studies. You can select which gift card is your goal and they will let you know when you have reached your goal and you just have to claim your reward and within a few days or longer, you get your reward! You can't go wrong with PointClub!

This site is good for earning at a slow pace, but 9 days ago I cashed out a 25$ Visa Gift Card, yet today it's still pending, I reached out to them in Facebook and they just replied to me with a copy-pasted message, I've never waited this much for a cashout in any other site and I don't know what to do.

PointClub responded to this review on May 10, 2020
Dear Kevin,There are lot many factors involved in the entire process, beginning from fetching approvals and goes up until delivery of reward(s) requested.
As always, best efforts are being made to keep all such factors aligned. In the meantime, slight delays shall be experienced due to unavoidable causes and we do regret for the inconvenience it may have led to.
Please be assured that every possible measure is being taken to get your reward being delivered at the earliest.
Thank you
