VIP Voice was formally known as NPD Online Research.
VIP Voice is an online research community that's part of The NPD Group. The NPD Group, founded in 1967, provides market information and advisory services to help companies make better business decisions. They conduct more than 12 million surveys a year on topics such as electronics, mobile, sports, toys, apparel, accessories, beauty and more.
The More You Participate, the More Points You Get
VIP Voice offers a tiered rewards program that spans 5 different levels. The more surveys you complete, the higher you move up in levels, and the more points you will earn. In addition, your reward level determines the prizes you are able to access and bid on through SweepLand and BidLand.
For each survey you complete, you will earn points. The number of points you receive will depend on your current reward level as well as whether or not you qualify to complete a survey.
Try Your Luck in Sweepland
SweepLand is a sweepstakes program where your points can be entered into sweepstakes for a variety of different prizes. Winners are chosen at random. Each point you use in the sweepstakes is considered an entry, so the more points you put into the draw, the better your chances of winning a prize. Prizes have high values and are for things like HDTV's, $5000 cash, trips to tropical destinations, etc.
Bid on Prizes In Bidland
BidLand is an auction-style program where you can use your points to bid on various items. The highest bidder at the end of the auction will win the prize and will have their points deducted from their account. If you do not win the prize, your points will be returned to your account.Visit VIP Voice's website ›
Survey Point Values
Each VIP Voice point is worth one sweepstakes entry or one auction bid. You can use as many or as little points as you'd like to enter the SweepLand sweepstakes. For BidLand auctions, you must enter a bid greater than the "Current High Bid".
VIP Participation Points
If you attempt to complete a survey but do not qualify, you will earn VIP Participation Points. Level 1 members will earn 50 points for being disqualified, while level 5 members earn 550!
VIP Qualification Points
If you successfully complete a survey, you will earn VIP Qualifications Points. Level 1 members will earn 25 points for completing a survey while level 5 members earn 200 points.Visit VIP Voice's website ›

If you don't know it, you earn points by doing surveys and then can bid on prize draws.
I won 2 at the same time. I was then told that the prizes were not available in my area and give a choice of 6 prizes that were considerably cheaper.
Both prizes that I won are readily available in my area, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada !!
The prizes I was offered were about 1/3 the value of the ones that I won. i.e. a 30$ phone as apposed to the 90$ waffle iron. I contacted them and got no response.
So, I sent all the information and correspondence to the IRS in the United States, seeing as how they are likely declaring the full price of the prizes promised.
I got a letter from the IRS in the US, thanking me and informing me that it would be looked into as it is not the first type of info they had received.
So, if you do get stiffed by a survey company, report them. They are for profit businesses.
I got an email from vipvoice after a couple of months offering me the cash amount of the difference if I was willing to drop my complaint.

I should have done better research before signing up. As far as I can tell, I did enough surveys to get 37050 points and....pay attention-ALL I could do was bid on auctions or enter sweepstakes. I don't even know how they have participants but I'm out!

I would spend time doing these stupid surveys just for points that go toward sweepstakes that you never win. I decided to try to bid on some items. After numerous bid attempts, I finally got a $25 restaurant gift card. To my horror, I look at the fine print and under the list of very limited restaurants that I can use this at, I have to order at least $50 worth of food and drink to able to use the $25 gift card!!! What a freaking rip off!!!
May 2017 update: I did use my points for some Amazon gift cards, so I did receive a legitimate reward for my time. So I'm raising my rating from 1 star to 2 stars.

This site offers points. Those points you spend on sweepstakes or you can bid on items. It takes a long time to get enough points to win a bid, and you may never win a sweepstakes. I have won on some bid items in the past but they have recently changed their structure of who can bid on what and I find that that is unfair to those who have been a member for a long time like I have. Join only if you really like taking surveys, otherwise, skip it.

This site has been just OK for as long as I have been using it (12+ years). They give you surveys to do several times a week for which you earn points. The points are for you to enter into either their sweepstakes or to bid with in their auctions. There are also various games such as Scratch-off , Matching , Trivia , and Pigskin Pickem where you can also garner points.
There are a couple of problems with the site. First , they only seem to have a handful of surveys that they have users do , which can get a bit boring. One oddity with the surveys is the points awarded. For example , for one on what you spent and where in the past 7 days , I have received 200 points when I spent very little or when I have spent plenty. Likewise , for the same survey , I have gotten 550 points for those same 2 scenarios. Odd!
Second , the chances of winning anything in the sweeps is astronomical given the number of participants. Lately though , in the past 2 years , earning points has gotten better and as long as you enter the sweeps as often as possible , you can win. In the past 2 years or so , I have won 3 magazine subs and a $75 waffle iron.
Their customer service is done through a Help Desk where you fill out a ticket. Response time is quite good and you often get a response within 24 hours or less. They do resolve issues.
Overall , the site is OK , just don't go there with winning expectations.
