Please stay far away

My girlfriend signed us up for this program promising pay for data collection. Seemed like an okay deal at the time. They started with this box that linked to our router that caused our internet to slow a bit. This was understandable as it needed to redirect data streams, and we had speed to spare. Approximately two months later, they sent her an email that we had to download a certificate on each browser to continue, so we did that, and immediately regretted it. This caused us to be unable to access any online servers for any games (think STEAM), even after a reboot, and removal of what they had us download. Running a malware and registry cleaner did nothing, so we opted to rollback our PCs. Her's will not allow itself to roll back, and mine messed up in the process leaving my only option as a factory reset. She is left with a computer than will not even open Google chrome, and my PC is now telling me that Windows is corrupt and won't even go to a home screen. Bear in mind we do have anti virus programs and are not computer illiterate, and all of this took place less than 5 minutes after downloading this certificate from this company. BBB has been contacted (as if that will do anything.)

Poorly Explained Program

I was unaware that all devices that use my home network would need to be registered (i.e. have software installed on them) in order to qualify to stay on the panel. My husband's work-from-home computers are on our internet network of necessity and he is not allowed to alter those devices in any way. So, I was just forced to resign. I had only accumulated $25, which is not cashable, so that's a total wash. If I had known the full requirements for participation, I wouldn't have bothered.

Was great at first

I'd had my Digital Reflection's meter for several years. Never had any problems. Then one day it stopped transmitting. I called their customer service people (who are completely ridiculously hard to get a hold of via phone) and they told me I needed a new ethernet cord. I went out and bought one, plugged it in and, big surprise, meter still doesn't work. After 2 weeks of sitting around here waiting for them to get back to me they finally sent me a notice that it still wasn't transmitting. I contacted them and said well it's been plugged in (other than having some electrical work done at one point last year.) Since the meter stopped working I told them I needed a new meter and they said they didn't have any. So 3+ years of being with them and they can't even send a new meter when one breaks? Then I was thinking about it and realized the meter is probably a security violation for my job. Oh well take your stupid meter back.

Waste of time!

I had this internet "meter" for about 2 years, started working from home, and was unable to keep it plugged in all the time. I started receiving emails to keep it plugged in and several times replied that I couldn't have it plugged in during work hours. The reason for this is sketchy...I discovered, after longgggg attempts to fix my connection issue to my work login, I discovered that the meter was a violation of the safety/security for logging into my employer workspace. Why would it be a problem??? What are they REALLY tracking? The agreements are pretty vague, but, most likely enough to cover them. So, they finally sent me an email today that they are resigning me and my account balance would be forfeited....now after being a member for over 2 years, you'd think that $25 could be cashed out...NOPE!!! All my info and data from all that time is theirs and I get left with nothing!!!
